When we appeared on Shark Tank, we shared our story of losing a child and how we were able to overcome our struggles with the help and encouragement of our sweet customers.
We were flooded with emails from supportive fans, including one from Kelly Blumenthal. Kelly had just discovered she was pregnant with a child who had little to no chance at life due to potentially terminal heart defects.
The Blumenthal family had to make plans to terminate the pregnancy based on the recommendation from doctors who conveyed the severity of the baby’s condition and his inevitable fate.
After watching our episode, however, Kelly was renewed with a sense of purpose and drive to see her little one survive and give him a chance at life. We shared Kelly's story on Facebook and our fans surrounded their family with an overwhelming outpouring of prayer and support during their pregnancy. The Blumenthal family chose to name their baby "Finn" which means ‘Little Warrior.”
After numerous struggles and weeks in the hospital, Finn is now nearly 8 months old and just went HOME from the hospital! He's doing great!
The Blumenthal family has become part of our family and they hold a special place in the hearts and prayers of tens of thousands of the Sleeping Baby fans.
I designed this print to represent Finn's courage and strength and it will be sold to help raise money for the amazing organization, The Ronald McDonald House that helped take care of the Blumenthal's while Finn was in the hospital. They provide an amazing support system for any family who's little one is in the hospital for severe medical conditions
$1 from each sale will also help support the Blumenthal's in paying their mounting medical bills!

Written by Stephanie Parker from Sleepingbaby.com, inventors of the Zipadee-Zip
The motto for Sleeping Baby, makers of the Zipadee-Zip, is: "Inspiring Dreams One Night at A time," and that, in a nutshell, is how it all started…with one little dream that has since become the Parker family's reality. When Brett and Stephanie Parker's daughter, Charlotte, was born, the feeling that welled up inside of them was indescribable; they never realized until first looking into those baby blues of hers that they were even capable of that kind of love.
When it was time to transition baby from swaddling, the Parkers tried every sleep sack on the market and every swaddle weaning trick they could find for nearly two weeks and nothing worked to get baby Charlotte to fall and stay asleep.
Stephanie became determined to restore sleep and sanity to their household and set out to find a solution that would soothe Charlotte's startle reflex and provide her the cozy womb-like environment she loved so much but still give her the freedom to roll over and wiggle around in her crib safely. Out of sheer desperation and exhaustion, the Zipadee-Zip was born. The first Zipadee-Zip(R) Stephanie put together on her little sewing machine worked like magic!
To date tens of thousands of Zipadee-Zips have been sold and all from word-of-mouth marketing. It is so rewarding for the Parkers to see other parents and babies getting the sleep they both need and deserve!
